LLC GEORGIAN NUTS FACTORY (GNF) was founded by two families in Zugdidi, West Part of Georgia. Successful Partnership and close friendship between the families goes back several decades.

LLC GNF is a leading company in the production, processing and export of hazelnuts in Georgia.

Our company is located in a village Kakhati, Zugdidi, near the black sea coast.

production area is 850 m² and produces a full range of hazelnut products that are in full compliance with EU standards and regulations. Today company is one of the leading manufacturer and supplier of natural and semi-finished hazelnut products in the region. In close partnership with farmers, small collectors and the state structures, GNF’s goal is to continue growing and developing. Despite the difficulties and challenges during the harvesting period in the country, GNF stands out for its exclusively high-quality products and high standard systems that is established in the company. Hence, the company has ambition to cooperate with top class customers through worldwide.

It is worth mentioning our successful cooperation with leading companies in Europe and Asia over

the years with a production Capacity of 1000 MT ready products per season. The quality of the product is controlled at all stages and this is the key to our success. Our service and high quality products guarantee that the needs of even the most demanding customers will be met.

LLC GNF also owns hazelnut plant that cover up 80 hectare and blueberry plant that cover up 15 hectare in a village Kakhati.

QUALITY POLICE:

The essence of quality management in GNF depends on customer satisfaction, quality and food safety, environmental policy, safety and health at the workplace and work ethics. The quality control management criteria of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) are adopted by

the company and became a crucial part of the corporate identity and policy. The Quality Policy in GNF is implemented successfully in each and every step of the process - starting with the procurement of the raw material and ending with the delivery of the product to the consumer. As required by the Purchasing Procedures natural hazelnuts undergo a series of physical and chemical analysis and only approved raw materials are processed in production. Company hasa an in-house quality control laboratory which performs physical and chemical tests on raw material and processed products. Each lot is tested for Aflatoxin and FFA levels. Company abides by the rules and policies of General Hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) without any compromise to implement hygienic and healthy conditions for production. For this purpose all necessary procedures are performed. Hygiene & purification trainings, controls and medical examinations of employees are to be performed periodically.
